This beautiful blue diamond measures 12.03 carats in weight, and has a Fancy Vivid Blue color. It is a relatively new entrant to the world of expensive gemstones. This diamond was found in South Africa in 2014. It quality is so high that many diamond experts have called it a flawless stone.
Wittelsbach Graff Diamond
This diamond is undoubtedly among the famous diamonds in the whole world that you should know about. This incredible stone was bought by a distinguished jeweler named Sir Laurence Graff in 2008, for 23.4 million dollars. The diamond has a fancy grayish-blue color and 35.56 carats. It was further re-polished, reducing its weight to 31.06 carats.
Koh-i-Noor Diamond
The Koh-i-Noor diamond is actually a white diamond weighing 108.93 carats. Legend says it was a Persian shah who was awed by the beauty of the stone, who gave it this name. This diamond fell into the hands of Queen Victoria by 1849. She ordered it cut once more, and then had it set in the crown of Queen Elizabeth. This beautiful gem can now be found in the HM Tower of London.
Noor-ul-Ain Diamond Tiara
This awesome diamond crown was presented to the Empress Farah Diba by Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, when she married him. The crown has a precious 60-carat pink diamond as its centerpiece. The stone is one of the world’s largest pink diamonds, and is accompanied by about 324 additional colored diamonds.
